Player Restart Procedure
Introduction: Restarting the Spectro:o player is necessary when the player reports an Offline status in the platform. In such conditions, the restart can only be done physically by the location’s staff.
To ensure a proper restart of the Spectro:o player, follow these steps:
- Identify the player behind the screen. Depending on the situation, you can interrupt the power supply to the player by unplugging the power cable directly from the player or the adapter from the power socket . In some cases, you can interrupt the power supply using the button on the power cable.
- When the power supply to the player is interrupted, it will remain powered for approximately 1-2 minutes due to the battery. Wait until all player LEDs are off, and there is no signal on the screen.
- Reconnect the power plug to the player or plug the adapter back into the power socket. Wait for the screen to display the Spectro:o logo indicating the operating system loading. Once the operating system is loaded, wait for the player to display the content allocated from the Spectro:o platform.
- Check after approximately 5-10 minutes if the player status on the Spectro:o platform is Online, and the playlist is synchronized.
Watch the video below to see how to interrupt the power supply to the player by pressing the button on the power cable.
